SeoRend plans are sized by your site — how many of your pages we keep permanently rendered and ready for bots, and how fresh those copies stay. There are no render counters to think about: on-demand rendering of pages outside your covered set is included in every plan within fair use.

Which pages get covered

SeoRend picks your covered pages automatically:

  1. Real bot traffic ranks first — pages that Google, ChatGPT and other bots actually visit are always kept ready.
  2. Your sitemap fills the rest — the remaining capacity is filled with your highest-priority sitemap pages.
  3. Manual URLs (Business and up) let you pin specific pages regardless of traffic.

No sitemap? No problem — coverage builds up from real bot traffic alone. A sitemap just makes the first days faster and lets SeoRend follow your site as it grows (stored sitemaps are re-checked automatically).

Refresh schedule

Covered pages are re-rendered on your plan’s schedule, so bots always get a fresh copy. Two refinements happen automatically:

  • Tiered freshness (Pro and up): your most visited pages refresh much faster than the long tail.
  • Change-aware refresh: if your sitemap’s lastmod shows a page hasn’t changed in weeks, SeoRend refreshes it less aggressively — you get more coverage for the same money. Pages in the fast tier are never stretched.

You can also purge any page instantly from the dashboard after an update.

On-demand rendering and fair use

When a bot visits a page that isn’t covered (or whose cache just expired), SeoRend renders it on the spot and caches the result. This is included in every plan within fair use — there is no per-render price.

Every plan has an internal fair-use ceiling for on-demand renders. Sites that consistently exceed it receive a heads-up about upgrading; requests beyond the ceiling return a 429 and bots are served your original site instead. Pages already rendered keep being served regardless — cache hits are always free and never throttled.

Pages SeoRend keeps permanently rendered and refreshed on schedule, so even the first bot visit is served instantly from cache.

Cache TTL

Section titled “Cache TTL”

Cached page lifetime. Managed automatically per plan (72h on Free, 24h on Starter, 6h on Pro, 1h on Business); adjustable in the dashboard.

API Key

Section titled “API Key”

Key for authenticating requests to the SeoRend API. Different keys can be used for different environments.

Manual URLs

Section titled “Manual URLs”

Ability to manually pin URLs to the always-ready list. Useful for new pages or important landing pages that haven’t gained traffic yet.

Origin

Section titled “Origin”

Your actual web server — where your site normally lives. When a request is not from a bot (or something goes wrong), traffic goes straight to your origin, untouched.

Middleware

Section titled “Middleware”

A small piece of code added to your web application (Next.js, SvelteKit, Express…) that checks each request and forwards bot requests to SeoRend. An alternative to the Cloudflare Worker for those who prefer integrating in code.

Edge

Section titled “Edge”

Cloudflare’s servers around the world that sit in front of your site. The SeoRend Worker runs on the edge, which is why no changes to your application code are needed.

Proxied mode

Section titled “Proxied mode”

A Cloudflare DNS setting (the orange cloud) that routes your traffic through Cloudflare’s edge. Required for the Worker integration to function.

Billing

  • Billing occurs monthly (yearly billing available at a discount)
  • All paid plans include a 14-day free trial
  • Upgrade/downgrade changes apply immediately with proration; on upgrade your new coverage applies right away
